Meat Recipes for an Effective Fitness Program

  • Poultry

A 3-ounce serving of chicken meat contains approximately 18 grams of protein. A turkey breast of the same proportion contains 25 grams of protein. 

  • Pork and Lamb

A 3-ounce pork contains about 23 grams of protein, and lamb provides 21 grams/3 oz. Pork and lamb tend to have a lot of fat and it is healthier to opt for lean cuts of the meat with the fat trimmed off.

Easy everyday meat recipes

Here are a few easy to make meat recipes you can cook with the Gemside Automatic Meal Cooker.  You find the use of beef in the recipes for illustration purposes, butany kind of meat you love can be substituted for beef.

Sesame Beef


2 pounds beef roast, cubed

1 cup soya sauce

½ cup brown sugar

3 cloves crushed garlic

1 tsp grated ginger

2 tsp sesame oil

3 onions

1 tbsp cornflour

1 tsp sesame seeds

½ cup chicken broth


Mix soya sauce, brown sugar, and broth.

Add to the mixture garlic, ginger and sesame oil.

Marinade beef in mixture for a few hours.

Put beef and marinade in Gemside Automatic Meal Cooker.

Sprinkle the onions on top and cover.

Set it on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.

Thicken with dissolved cornflour before serving with rice.

Shredded Meat


4 pounds beef rump

2 cups beef broth


Place the beef in the bottom of the Gemside Automatic Meal Cooker.

Pour beef broth over the meat.

Cover with lid and set on high for 4-6 hours.

Once it is done, shred beef with fork, and refrigerate.

The shredded meat is perfect for sandwiches, sliders, salads, soups and many other dishes.
